Feeling a bit better about exams but still cacking myself. I was gutted yesterday when I got an essay back with only 55%. That might seem a lot to some of you but I worked pretty hard on it (ok not as hard as I should have done) and was excited that I had written something worthwhile. I was told the books I had read were crappy (they were on the reading list!) and I must learn to use apostrophes (stupid spellchecker)

I have another essay due in friday and an exam next thurs. I also have to work tomorrow, mon tues and weds

I feel slightly good about myself though. theres a girl at work who always spoke about her 'partner' but never named names or even used he/she. i guessed something was up and broached the subject whilst we were chatting. I mentioned I had a friend who I think is in denial and its a shame he wont admit it cos I have nothing against gay people. She opened up after that and seems happier and chatty round me. It turned out she is gay and has been living wih her girlfriend for almost four years. Bless em. I feel good that she can be herself around me.....now if I can just get MY life back on track!
