Can a guy really love and want to even be a particular woman forever but compeletely, truly not prefer her bigger or smaller? even if just a little bit? Can he really not notice or prefer between when she's dressed up in a extreme sexy/cute way to try to draw attention from him or when shes sitting on the couch, eating cookies, dressed in old stained sweats with messy hair and day old make up on?

and if thats really case, would you consider that unconditional love and give the guy a pat on the shoulder or just lack of interest and time to find someone new?..maybe the guys gay.. i dont know!

I just dont get it and dont know how to give advice on this subject so I thought I'd ask for some help if anyone has any ideas... because I know for one, I am clueless. although I'd guess its more laziness then love and sweetness when a guy can't bother to compliment you when you've obviously put effort into your appearance.

fatkidlovescake:
as a guy, i can say that it is possible for a man to love a girl completely and forever. i can also say that the sexes view of things is so vastly different. you dress up extremely sexy or cute and he doesnt complement you, but that could just be because he doesnt recognize the need to (which perhaps happens on an unconscious level). i saw a coworker yesterday who i havent seen in 3 months. she lost about 35 lbs. i saw it and thought to myself, she looks thinner. but i didnt say anything, just made a mental note of it and went about my business. in retrospect should i have told her she looked good? yeah probably...it would have made her feel good. but at that moment it was just me taking the information in and processing it the same way i process it being cloudy outside.

now i am usually overly analytical, so often enough the things i say are deemed unemotional by others (something to think about; only women ever comment on the emotion i put into the things i say and do)...but its just how i see and process the world and i assume that more often than not, men are more like me than they are like you. it isnt laziness or a lack of caring, its that what we say and internalize is different from what you need/want.
