worst day ever.
today i have clinic........i have 2 patients, one who comes in every monday, and one who comes in ever wed., I have to entirely complete both of them before the end of the semester..which is in like 5 weeks......we have to have our patient or at least SOME patient in our chair every clinic...if we dont for at least 89% of our clinic time, we get our grade dropped by 1 letter grade=10pts.......we have to get at least a 75% average in clinic or we get thrown out of the dental hygeine program........and if our patient is ever late even by a min, that all gets averaged into that...
AND MY PATIENT DIDNT SHOW UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yes.......she got in a mini little baby of a car accident(literally, no damage to her car, minor scratches on the other).........BUT STILL!!!!!! she could have atleast shown up for half of clinic so i could have atleast got partial credit.........but now, because of that my clinic time average is already down to about a 90% since I couldnt get anyone else to show up and I was left sitting at my empty unit for 3 hours........i am so depressed and stressed about my grade now...and not only that but now I'm behind in all of her charting and competencies...this is the worst day EVER!! and shes one of my best friends which makes it even worst!she knows how important this is............and i know she didnt mean to royally fuck me....but she did, and im bitter.
on a better note, on monday I hiked up the sleepy giant in hamden, ct., with 3 of my best friends!(one of them being the bitch who left me patient-less today!lol)good times!
