Thanks for the conclusion to the story. I agree with leaving him alone. While he may be the sweetest guy in the world, he wasn't totally honest with you and that's not fair. hmmm. perhaps he got back together with his ex and his life is a mess. And maybe he is being as sincere as he can be by telling you that he doesn't want to drag you into it. You may want to just leave it alone.

But, before you freak stress about it, which is all but impossible prolly at this point, just wait until he gets back to get his keys and ask him what the deal is.

Thing to prolly remember is that if things are getting hairy this quick in the game, you should be really careful and rethink things.
