Wow... been a while SGers,

Life has been super busy lately, had to buy a new car cause mine crapped out But taking the bus 2 hours both ways led to more poetry:

Whiskey Joy Ride

Feeling low on highballs,
Stumbling upright learning to crawl,
A man can only see as far as his mind will allow,
You tell me as we drown in downtown,

Lets go on a whiskey joy ride,
the scotch is flowing on through high tide,
Lets go on a whiskey joy ride,
Swallow a shot and swallow your pride.

Liquid courage is a solid chance,
Lets have a raw one night romance,
Driving straight into a steady swerve,
If i wasn't so numb i wouldn't have the nerve.

Lets go on a whiskey joy ride,
the Bourbon is flowing on through high tide,
Lets go on a whiskey joy ride,
Swallow a shot and swallow your pride.

Winning this losing game,
Different bar but it all feels the same,
Standing still while the world around me spins,
But the whiskey forgives me for all of my sins...
