I went to see The DaVinci Code last night. It was a really good movie but there were so many things that were different than the book. I was almost afraid to see it thinking I would HATE it as is usually the case with a book turned into a movie. I was pleasantly surprised though. It was good but it wasn't nearly as good as the book. Of course, I think that was easily one of the best books I've read in a long time! I will be re reading it though just because there were some HUGE differences in the movie. It was really a good movie though. Maybe I liked it so much because I got to get out of the house w/o the kids. It was Mom's Night Out with the mom's group I'm in. My mom got to come too. feerlessfreddy was nice enough to keep the kids so we could go. Dang, I'm a lucky girl! Anyway, it's a good enough movie and if I were into doing movie reviews I'd probably give it 1 thumb up
Alright my lovely friends, I'm going to be away from the computer today because I have tons of stuff to do around here. Mainly measure all the windows so me and my mom can start the process of making window treatments and coverings. Wish me luck, I'm not the greatest with the sewing stuff but I'm definitely learning. My mom's going to teach me how to make roman shades and I already know how to make some curtains.
