Moving day tomorrow!!! We get our keys today!!! We get the check from title today!!!! *which means* We get new furniture today!!!! Oh, I might've forgotten to mention this but I'm TOTALLY EXCITED ABOUT MOVING!!! Finally the new house is done and we can get out of this apartment that I like to think of as purgatory. It's more like my own private hell really but it's leading to something much better so I'll consider it purgatory. Anyway, I just realized that every time I say something about how horrible this apartment is, it might come off as me being snobbish. Well, it's not that, there are some lovely apartments out there, THIS is just not one of them! And, if we didn't have 5 of us crammed in here with boxes that didn't fit in storage, it'd be perfectly lovely. I just don't have any SPACE and it's driving me nuts. Besides, I've had to have the bug guy in every time and I should've bought stock in Raid because I'm killing bugs all over the place. It's so gross! We're going to have the movers unpack everything into the garage and then set off a bug bomb to make sure we don't bring any "tenants" with us. BLECH!~
So, the idiot in me just realized this morning that I have to call and have power, gas, cable, water, sewer, trash etc hooked up! Uhhh I hope they're open to doing it today or tomorrow. Anyway, the cable, I'm sure, will take a little longer so I might not be online for a bit as our internet is run through the cable. So, if you don't see any comments from me, I'll apologize now and just say, It's the cable company's fault. I'd be online if only they would've shown up right when I wanted them to! lol I'll start calling them all pretty soon here *you know, after they open since it's not even 7 am yet.
Anyway, have a great weekend and I hope to talk to you all soon. and, if not, I'll miss you terribly!
