Another week is here and that means we're that much closer to the new house! Yay! That's what gets me through living in this apartment. Every week I say, "we're almost there, we're one week closer" Now I just have to keep good thoughts that this rain *drizzle really* doesn't delay the builders. It shouldn't since they're supposed to be working on the inside of the house now right? But, you never know what they might use as an excuse to go home. Of course, it might not even be safe for them to be there if its wet since the electrical stuff is all in.? Oh well, I still want them to be working on it and getting it done lol.
I'm going to be able to go to the San Diego Zoo with my daughter's Brownie troop next month. I'm so excited. I've never been there and her troop sold enough girl scout cookies that they get to go on the trip and they have extra spots open on the trip and I get one of them! YAY! The bad part about it is that we have to meet at 3 am to drive down there and get back around midnight so I'm going to be nice and tired lol. Actually, I'll probably sleep the entire ride though. I'll just cuddle up with my girl and snooze til we get there. I'm just really excited about this.
I'm really contemplating getting a job and hiring someone to watch the kids in the morning and afternoon. I'm going completely bonkers staying at home. I've been staying home for over 8 years now and it's time I got a little bit of human interaction that doesn't involve cartoons and juiceboxes. I just don't know what I want to be when I grow up
. I used to cut hair for a living and now, my license has been expired for so long that I'd have to go back to school so that's out of the question. I guess I oughtta figure that out huh? Maybe I'll do something construction related. I like the hours. I'd just have to find someone willing to come in that early in the morning. I don't want it to be someone who lives there but someone that I'd be comfortable leaving with my kids overnight if needed. Anyone know anyone in Vegas that wants to be a nanny for cheap?? Oh yeah, I may have forgotten to mention that I want them to work cheap lol. I'll figure it out and there's not a price I could put on the person taking care of my kids.
I finally got my oldest daughter into the ENT yesterday and yup, she needs her tonsils out! Tonsils and adenoids will all come out in about 6 weeks. I asked them if we can wait til after school is out because she'd have to miss at least 10 days and they can't schedule it for spring break because it's too soon. I hope this stops the chronic strep throat that she tends to have.

um. well in the summer theres a butterfly house here, i love that. but in general, id have to say the tigers/lions. i love the cats.
