I LOVE thrift shopping. Usually I don't buy much. A pair of earrings here and there, clothes when I need them, and the occasional purse, or piece of furniture. My ultimate weakness is serving dishes. By some stroke of amazing luck, I always find some form of serving dish that is %50 off that day. I love to entertain, and I'm in the process of replacing my collection of dishes, and baking accessories that got lost, tossed, or broken when my ex and I split. I just can't pass up serving ware. I love to entertain, but I don't get to do it often. My apartment is small, and it's not really set up to be comfortable for company. My kitchen is a nightmare, and I don't have much cupboard space.
For now, I only get to bust them out on holidays. I suppose by turkey day I'll have enough of a collection to use for dinner without having to leave potatoes in the pot, or bust out the cheap plastic storage junk.
I've been searching for curtains to match my new dishes, but no luck yet. I'll find the right ones eventually.
