Dreamt of telephoto lens and hard boiled crime drama's. Christmas in New York and stumbling drunks who'd give up all they knew if you brought that cheap bottle, shining under a street lamp, just inches closer to their grasp.
Cars spun out and kicked up snow, broke through classic diners.
The whole thing was in black and white, a senseless narrative speaking through it the whole time.

And I was not in it.
But Gary Shandling was, for a few minutes. (?)
And I think Tom Waits played one of the drunks.
Or was singing inthe background.
