Dear Dr. Decentlove,
I got my nipples pierced about two weeks ago, and one of them seems to be healing nicely, but Im still getting a lot of scabbing and nastiness from the other. On top of that, they're both sore.
Is this normal, should I have somebody look at them?

Recently on a trip I was approached by a group for Gay and Lesbian Equality, and they were asking me to donate money to the cause of preserving the consitution and fight banning gay marriages. I 'm toitally down with that. I believe in it. But then this girl starting showing me these charts about how that opinon is outnumbered 9 to 1 and how the chrisitian right gets donations on a weekly basis staight from the collection plate. I started looking at these figures and I just wanted to tell her. "Give up, you're outnumbered and outfunded. You're going to lose." Am I evil?

Yes, you're evil. Thats a horrible fucking thing to say. You might as well BE a member of the christian right if you're going to spread despair and hopelessness. The fact is, they may lose in the short term, but there is no way to stop social progress. It WILL happen. Society marches forward even if idiot naysayers try and block the gates. And in the end, everyone who opposed them will look like assholes. Look at those asshole slave owners. Boy, Isn't there egg on their face?
When they asked you for money, you shouldn't say anything about the futility of their cause. Instead say, "Do I look like the The Paul Bank and Trust?" and walk on.
