Last night's dream...
I was in a meeting with a mafia Don. He told everyone that he was at war with Howard Hughes. He asked for everyone to help him find a nuclear weapon to destroy his enemy. I was horrified by what he was asking, but for some reason, he seemed like a nice person.
Next I found myself at a conference, where Jon Stewart gave an impassioned speech, talking about peace between the mafia and Howard Hughes. It had his signature humor but also made me tear up. In the reception for the speech, I ran into the mafia Don in the hall. He asked me who I worked for and I told him I was at A2M making games. He said he knew the company owner, but didn't trust him. We walked to the washroom, chatting. Then, I told him that Howard Hughes was clinically insane and that he should look it up on Wikipedia. I pleaded with him to consider what he was doing.
I left him to his thoughts and went back to where the speech was given. I grabbed a beer and chatted with Jon Stewart about the nuclear crisis and told him how much I appreciate his show. He thanked me, but cut our conversation short when the Don came back. Clearly they were friends and had much to talk about. I asked Jon if I could ask him a final question, as he was walking away. He told the Don to wait a moment, came back and gave me his email, although I couldn`t read it.
As I left the hall, beer in hand, I realized I was in Santiago and that drinking in public was illegal, so I left the drink behind as I walked home.
I have no idea what any of this means.
