this week has flown by. chicago was cool, for all 36 hours i was there. met some cool folks and enjoyed some fine gustatory experiences. belgian beers, good coffee, and some other stuff from 11-2 that I can't remember. it was more jarring than i expected to be among smokers. i am getting soft. as fun as it is to get away tho, i do hate being away from my son. he changes every day. it's amazing.

my birthday was a blast, my co-workers surprised me with a nice card & gag. and i got a couple goodies from family. thanks all! xoxo

funny, surface called it a trolley too! yes, we're near union square there.

it's so hard for me to travel to cities that allow smoking. my lungs hate me afterwards.

it was a bit of a letdown actually. about 10 combined minutes of goodness. i prefer their older stuff (pre mars audiac), and it seemed most of the crowd felt the same way. still nice to see them though of course.
