Todays weather is a touch of perfection. The tempurature is just right, its windy as hell and every now and again the sun peeks through the ominous grey clouds to encourage vitamin D production for this herbivorous nudist. Ahh the sights sounds and scents of summer. They make the harsh winters worth enduring.
Im soaking wild rice to make stuffed grape leaves . The wild rice, parsley, garlic scapes, and grape leaves were all grown locally using sustainable organic methodology. For all of my complaints about living in this frosty hell hole, I am fortunate to be able to be a part of local permaculture. Not everyone lives in an area so condusive to sustainable agriculture.
I spent another fabulous weekend in Chitown with much snuggling, excellent music, and deliscious Indian foods. If you are a fan of Indian food, Chowpatti in Chicago has the most massive menu I have ever had the pleasure of getting my salivating self lost in. Chicago has felt like home since the first day I stepped foot within its boarders...and that feeling has not changed.

RUNPUNALPHA and I went to see Earth, Wind and Fire perform with Chicago. So grand was their perfromance that it warrents the use of an interfix ladies and gentlemen. Fanfuckingtastic. To the couple that sat next to us, it was a pleasure chatting with you. Given your glowing reccomendations, next year we will have to give Taste of Chicago a try.
