Ok todays rant is brought to you by my hostility towards hypocritical old people who have their heads so far up their asses that they dont realize that the stench that they are bitching about is from their own fecal matter.
Today I made a half assed attempt to organize some technical equipment I have been ignoring as of late. An invalid passcode, broken IDE ribbon and a lost website later I decided I was far to frustrated to be proximal to anything that didnt cellularly respire. So I went to the coop for foodthings
I was cut off by a couple driving a brand new Caddi who decided they had the right of way even though I came to the stopsign first....oh well, they were in a hurry and I was not. No biggie. While bagging my groceries (canvas bag brought from home to reduce waste! hooray for conservation) the driver of the Caddi kept pushing my cart towards me....as if that would have things move any more quickly. Now I was irritated. I cannot stand blatently rude behavior. There was pleanty of room for him to start unloading his groceries and my cart was in no way in his way. Yet he persisted in repeatedly nudging it (and me via proxy) further and further away from his person and glaring at me as if I had horribly offended him in some way. Then he bitched to the sales woman about the price of groceries..."first the doctor gets me with those damd pills he says I have to take, now you guys say I have to pay more for healthy food. Better to just die of the cholesterol, high blood pressure and adult diabetes. These young doctors dont know what the hell they are talking about".
1:No one is forcing you to shop at a coop
2:No one is forcing you to take drugs
3:No one forced you to live the unhealthy lifestyle that causes high cholesterol, high blood pressure and adult diabetes
4:You are purchasing prepackaged tv dinners
5:You drive a fucking Caddilac.
I hear so many old people complain about how the generation that they spawned cares only about themselves and money. Yet these same old people seem to have nothing to talk about that doenst involve money or themselves.
1:Exercise
2:Eat healthy
3:Avoid putting poisons in your body whenever possible
If you still develope health problems, then Ill listen to you complain. Until then its likely that the pound of bacon you consumed every morning for breakfast is lodged in one of your arteries. That would explain the heart problems....complain to the bacon.
I am not the source of your diabetes, your obesity, or your lung cancer. Smoking, drinking and Ronald McDonald are.
And while you are at it you could find a few ways to reduce your pollutive impact on this planet. You may not intend to live here long, but I do. Swimming in discarded boxs, plastic wrap and cigarette butts is not my idea of a good time. Its usually cheaper and healthier to buy in bulk anyway.
On a positive note, I saw 6 people on my way to the store riding bikes with those little trailer bikes for younglings attached. Its good to see that parents are out enjoying nature with their children instead of allowing the TV to babysit them. Upon arrival home with my groceries, my neighbors cat proudly greated me with a freshly caught, rather large and still wriggling mouse...

I completely understand, I was the dinningroom manager at a country club in a tiny Oklahoma town, the one that halliburton is based out of (just to give you an idea of the type of retirees were talking about here). I actually had a women who had never worked a day in her life tell me that "they used to send girls like you off to reform homes" while pointing at my very pregnant belly, as I served her lunch and she played bridge with her little friends. I just walked away imagining what that hamloaf was doing to her. So when Mr. Caddi said its better just to die of cholesterol, high blood pressure and adult diabetes; you should have just said "well get on with it then".
