Well it's been a pretty decent weekend. went out for belgian beers and food with friends last night which was good.... of course after 5 belgian beers.... (strong!!!) the morning was a bit slow

The word count is up to 18,000 now. It goes well, it goes well. I'm covering for an absent receptionist at work, so if people aren't so rude as to actually try and *call*, I can get a fair bit of my real work done. I wrote a terribly melodramatic scene today. Main character goes to see parents of teenage boy, in the aftermath of death of teenage boy's brother; parents may or may not be aware that she is trying to seduce said teenage boy.
Saturday? write off. I did some dishes and nothing else. it was good.

So I arrived into the office this morning after having turned my
computer off last night for the first time since at least the 16th of
Oct....
Hit the power button, went to go get some water, came back and just
caught the dreaded B.Sod before the system rebooted.
(Blue-Screen-of-DEATH for those who might not be used to having
acromyms pronounced)
It's nearly 6 and if I'm lucky I've only got about 4 hours of
rewriteing the overview section of a food packaging report ahead of
me. .... Yay.
I've been buried under a mass of emails and revisions and madness for
the past week. So I haven't had any time to deal with all of these
other issues that have been piling up.
So I've spent the last 2 days trying to fix my dad's computer with it's fried motherboard and power supply...
ended up with enough extra parts to builf him a whole new one!
but now the hard drive is taking forever to format... I just wanna go home but I also wanna get this windows install finished first....

That makes me number 300,002,040 or so (there were 142 of us, so there
might be a bit of a brawl if anyone else wants to make something of

ewwww....glades plug ins are nasty. thay make me not be able to breath. i was thinking that maybe when we move out we will stick blue cheese in the vents and then they won't know where the heck eh stentch is coming from. for now i can put up with it though.
