Just got back from a family function down at the lake. It was alright. Fairly boring. It's crazy to see my cousins all in their fucking teens and stuff. Like, when the fuck did they grow boobs? Their not supposed to have those, they're my little cousins. (note to self: remember, they ARE my cousins)
After several Labatts and Italian Sausages later... my uncle dragged out his new Gibson and Marshall amp and started playing. It soon turned into a 80's mellow rock hippie fest.
They asked me if I wanted to play, so OF COURSE, I did. I whipped out a few Descendents tunes and I got a ton of weird looks from my family. I tried to generate a Kabuki Girl sing-a-long, but it just didn't happen.
Oh well.
