my next series of drawings is going to be illustrating Hans Christian Anderson's "The Little Match Girl" because I think it is tragically beautiful. When I told my Fairy Tale instructor, she pretty much said "i don't see why you'd want to do that!" and looked at me like I was a sick fuck for wanting to illustrate a little poor girl frozen to death in the cold under the night sky. I'm doing it anyway. pshaaa!
