life without Cable is complex. there is so much time to do other things, but i just cheat and buy DVD's of shows i love and miss. so lately i have spent a great deal of time with "Reno 9-1-1" "The Simpsons" and "World Poker Tour" in rotation. Does that mean i don't have TV? Do i watch TV? i can't watch shows other than the DVD's i buy and am otherwise totally out of the loop because i hate TV, yet i spend a good amount of my time watching TV shows. what an asshole...
i really like listeneing to MF DOOM aka Viktor Vaughn aka King Geedorah/Ghidra aka Madvillain, his words, flow (and music) always make me smile...
in a little over two weeks there will be a week where within a week of each other there will be three nice hip hop shows:
-sun june 12 awol one @ knitting factory for $2 (nice)
-wed june 15 vast aire/vordul/c-rayz walz @ knit fac (real nice!)
-fri june 17 mr. lif/aesop rock/cage @ henry fonda (real nice)
that makes me feel...nice
wow, that was kind of boring. tomorrow i'll post a poem about how pathetic something is or why John Hughes should be praised and have his rings kissed instead of some John Paul fucker.
