i wrote this today at work...to anyone who may read it, feel free to share your thoughts. or just tell me what you had to eat today or whether the Police Academy series of films greatly affected your life and why.

(on sharing my) selfish pool of introspective drool

looking lovely, feeling ugly
reeling my selfish in
from a pool of introspective drool
when there is no on else to hug me
trained in the school of
you are fucking crazy
and laziness doesnt pay the bills
stained pain kills
and lifes ills are big
and your brain feels oh so small
so the tall order is stay sane
and remain on track with a smile and a stiff back
a kid gets picked on
and the wounds turn to scabs
that still will get picked at
scaredy cat at what this life can do
insight might break your soul in two
bi-poles teetering in between
seeking the answer to the riddle of the middle
what is the mean of the heartbreak
and what is the fakest face you can make
to place the least amount of worry
and snowflakes of the flurry blizzards
upon the gizzards and insides of those you love
and wants so desperately to hide your broken brain from
but this is dumb and where the selfish comes from
so now i share this pool
of introspective drool and bring you the fishermen in with the fish
to take a swim and dive with me
as you do or do not wish
