So an update on real life, such as it is...
Moved into the new flat yesterday. It's 2 stops on the DLR from Canary Wharf, and I went exploring there this evening and got completely lost trying to get back to the DLR station. It's such a maze! Totally fascinating though, the whole energy of the place is so foreign to me, and yet not.
The house doesn't have any furniture as of yet, and resembles more of a shell than anything. IKEA on sat is probably the way to go. At least we have a bed that the previous tenants left us.
The job is busy. Very busy. With deadlines that cost people money if I miss them. It stresses me out more than it probably should at the moment, but I'm hoping it's because it's all new to me, and I'll settle into the routines a bit more in the next couple of weeks.
