Lectures started for real again today. As with each new academic year, I've spent more time organising my folders and papers than actually reading the course books. Thank god there's only one more year of this.

I'm seeing a little more of N at the moment, cos he's beaten the PS3 game he'd been playing for the past week, and I actually had tea and dinnner waiting when I got in yesterday! I was ultimately, undeniably impressed. Wait until my nintendo Wii arrives later this week.... (Spending spree? Us? No....)

Still, with me getting paid between 2 and 3 times a week, I'm feeling kinda flush. Its harder for him though, with a month between money. He's not used to making it last so long. I've FINALLY handed in my notice at the pub, though it took a double JD and coke to do it. Sat is my last day. Cant say I'll miss it...

We killed our external hard drive the other day. Plugged in the wrong cord and fried the board. Apparently there are companies that can extract the data from the actual spinning disk, but it'll cost, suprise suprise. Far too many unbacked up photo and music files on that drive. You'd think we'd have learnt the lesson.
