Sunday I did my financial paperwork. Nothing too hard, just balancing the checkbook, updating my VISA bill spreadsheet, yada yada yada.
In the course of my financial stuff, I needed a #10 envelope. I knew I had a box of 50 somewhere in this apartment, but I'd be damned if I could find it. 550 square feet (less shelves & furniture) & I can't find a box 4 1/4" x 9 1/2" x 2"
Okay, so maybe I used them all up.
Yesterday I bought a box of 70 #10 envelopes during my weekly trek to the local-yokel Meijer. As per my usual filing system, I just threw that box on top of my stack of magazines on the left side of my couch. Easier to see that way, doncha know.
Not less than five minutes ago, I decided to move said box to the approved location for boxes of #10 envelopes: the top of my couch, against the wall, 12" to the left of my head...right on top of the box of 50.
I swear I'd lose my head if it wasn't bolted on.
