That old wanderlust is setting in.

I'm getting an inkling to pull up stakes & trek farther East & up a bit to the Jewel of Monroe County, New York, that city of my birth, Rottenchester. Why?

You want sound, valid, well-planned reasoning or the "Because I feel like it!" reasoning that brought me back to MI?

We'll go with an incredibly asinine reason. I have three carburetors that were manufactured there. "See this plant? You were cast & assembled there. Wave to all the people looking at us funny."

I also have a place to stay rent-free. My grandmother would be tickled pink if I were a boarder. Plus she'd make me take her car out for "exercise" (her word, not mine).


Ehh, who am I kidding. I have no job in Rochester & upstate NY is just as hard on classic sheetmetal as SE MI. Besides, I'd have to pass inspection. Emissions is a cakewalk (already beat '67 CA emissions , with a bit of tweaking I might pass '78 Fed emissions), inspection is not. Worn front suspension (only the upper half now), incredibly non-stock exhaust, headers...all those items tend to send up red flags.

It is now officially WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY past my bedtime. I need more beer.
