I miss my truck. 
Yes, it devoured gas & rust fell out of the roof when you went over a bump, but goddammit, it didn't leak oil out of every orifice after changing it. Yes, the brakes did go out twice, but I fixed them both times. Yes, it needed a new rear end because the outer bearing races in the left hub were self-destructing, but that's my fault because I didn't peen over the locknut holding tab right many years ago.
However, the exhaust didn't leak & the holes in the cab didn't bother me in the slightest. The electrical system didn't have random shorts & opens. The climate control system actually changed vents/temperature when I moved the sliders. The seat was mighty comfy too--to say nothing of the beloved cowl vents.

when I was a little kid, I was fascinated with antique auto restoration. my grandpa was a tool and die maker and so I guess that's the tinkerererer in me. I just never went anywhere with it.
