WV was neat. SpaceGirl, marcu_s, jermhawk, and I all hiked our feet neigh into the ground this weekend (10,000 steps plus!). After a brief encounter with snow upon our arrival Friday afternoon, the sun was out most of the remainder of the weekend while the bugs were not. My calves are a bit more toned now too. Pics of the trip shall be forthcoming from various sources after said sources get both rested and scrubbed.

(Side note: When traveling through podunk Ohio late at night and there is an immediate pressing urge that can no longer be denied, one may find succor in the facilities of the local emergency room.)

I learned something else this weekend too: When one is away, one should tell the neighbors so they don't get worried when the mail piles up for four days (technically three since I was here Thursday evening). Oops. Well, it's good to know they're watching out for me.

On that note, I have a shower beckoning. Oh, sweet hot shower, how I have missed thee...
