It's the weekend. Yay!
That's all I have.
{added at update}
Okay, I lied. I chatted a bit with The Docta an hour or so ago. Jealous? Of course you are.
All you caring folks wish him luck with his latest automotive pitfalls.
In other news, I was watching some random Flash when this particular song comes on. I know I've heard it somewhere before, but I cannot remember who/what it is. I'm almost positive I last heard it in The Skulls a few years ago. Maybe it'll show up in the credits. The song title doesn't, but the artist does. Fatboy Slim? Hmph. I do not like his ham, Sam I am.
Being the technology-exploiting Luddite that I am, I trek on over to IMDB to see if my suspicions are correct. They are. "Right Here, Right Now" is the song I was thinking of. And now it's in my iTunes library.
Speaking of movie tunes I find pleasing, I was watching Monkeybone not too long ago when that song about the afterlife came on. You know,
In the afterlife
You could be headed for some serious strife
or somesuch thing. Anyway, I popped right onto my local P2P network searching for said song. To be sure I was getting the correct song, I also pulled up the soundtrack listing for said movie on IMDB. It's a given 95% of them were titled "In the Afterlife" which is WRONG! It's "Hell" by the Squirrel Nut Zippers. So there all you idiots on my local P2P network.
On a lark, I downloaded/pirated a veritable cornucopia of that particular band's neo-swing. So far, I like it.
This also reminds me of how I rediscovered VAST. Like "Right Here, Right Now", it was because of a random piece of Flash. This time it was "Touched", but I had no idea who or what it was since the creator of said animation did not list either the song or the artist in the credits. I had to wade through the reviews on Newgrounds to find what I sought.
So there you have it. I will wade through 27 pages of reviews to find the title of a song I heard many moons ago, I will double-check a song on my local P2P network against a (somewhat) independent source, and I have rediscovered my affinity for swing from my HS days. And through it all, I still cannot remember where I parked.
{added at a much later date}
You see that bold, underlined, italicized word up there? Yeah. I had "neu" there before. How I could not come up with "neo" last night is beyond me. It's one vowel away, for Chrissakes! I told you I was slipping in my dotage.

That's all I have.
