Today my boyfriend and I put up posters all over the city of Seattle for my show that's coming up next Sunday. We were at this for five hours, freezing.

Um, yeah. It's fucking late April, and it's fucking hailing at my house right now, probably washing away all my hard work. Putting on shows is a pain in my ass. I really want it to be worth it though.

Which brings me to a gripe. I booked 6 fantastic performers to do my show, and I have yet to see any promotion on their part, and this makes me want to choke a few of them (I know people get busy, but it's not hard to put the flyer on your myspace and call it good, ya know?). I kind of want to "unhire" a few of them, especially one of them who has a show she's putting on a few days before and a few days after, and promotes the shit out of that, but won't promote this show. It makes me really angry because we are only getting paid if there are butts in the seats. I promoted her show when I was in it, and more than 10 people ($250) came through the door because of my telling them specifically about the show.



Ok. Done with the rant now. I wish all of you were in my city so you could see my fantastic show....I would even let a few of you in for free because of all the times you've made me laugh and cheered me up around here.

If you could say a little blessing for my show, and help the universe bring me 200 people at my show, I would be ever so grateful. It would be so amazing to have an awesome audience.

Dude if we actually move to Bremerton I will be at every show I can possibly attend, until then I will just have to be your sxc bf4lyfe. Seriously tho good luck with the show, I'm sure it will be awesome.
