I've been so freakin' busy lately. It's been forcing me to get a good nights sleep most every night this week. That's a good thing, but I'm behind in some of the shit I gotta get done. If only there were 8 more hours in a day. Oh well.

I took my guitar in to get adjusted last week and the bastards still aren't finished. I'll have to give them a call today cuz I want my baby back.

I cut back on drinking a bit. It's not like I was getting trashed all the time, it's just even the occasional hangover is even more unbearable then it used to be. That "hair of the dog" shit was getting old too. I feel pretty good.

Just read Salinger's Nine Stories yesterday. Some great writing in there. Teddy didn't grab me as much at first, but he definitely saved the best story for last.

I dread having to leave for work here in a few minutes, but it's my last day until Mon. I need more reading material to distract me from the job. I'll have to go book shopping the weekend.

I'm not really that impressed with the Arcade Fire. I know everyone's up their ass, it just doesn't move me. Lyrically and musically they have quite a bit going on. The vocals just get on my nerves for some reason. All in all I think they're a bit overhyped. After all the buzz, I expected more.
