yeah, right now my dad loves sg more than me
so i'm watching it
and want to scream.

i HATE when goth/punk girls
are sterotyped in the media
as having "bad attitudes"
being "tough"
and basically looking quite brainless

the show just perpetuated that stereotype
that, and horrible acting
(amina, though she had few lines, was good)
and made SGs look like over-sexed bitches

i thought SG was all about the "smart art chicks"
and showing that girls can be sexy and intelligent
that there was more to women than just sex appeal
and all that other garbage they abandoned

i just wish there was some way to reverse the media image
i never wanted to look this way to give off a bad impression
just did what was "me"
but unfortunately the look is attached to a lot of bullshit

and then they did a slow walk-away at the end.

but at the end of the day SG gets even more promotion.
and yes, i'm quite aware CSI NY wrote the script
and SG had little to nothing to do with direction, and all that.
but i have to say,
it was yet another, great corporate move made by SG.
