I gave some beggar lady on the street $2 tonight. She had some story about a little girl...there were watery eyes involved. I figured she was working a lot harder than the guys at the intersection with the "Hard Times, Anything helps" signs. I also gave her my address. I'm not sure why, but moongirl gave out hers first, so I hope she had better understanding of what the lady was talking about than I did. Something about sending gratitude later. Uh huh. You know...I'm from Chicago...I should know better. But anyway, if me and Moongirl both turn up dead, it was a lady-type person, black, about yeah high...maybe hanging around Urban Bean...I dunno. I got nuthin.
