So I may end up going down to the Gulf region to help with disaster relief. I'd be working in the field of forensics - victim identification, body processing, body collection from the area. Heavy stuff, but it's what I was doing before the ever-so-intellectually stimulating phlebotomy job I have now. In a way I'm really excited to have a chance to be a part of something so big and such a part of our times. It's humbling and an honor to know that I might be able to make a difference in such a traumatic mass disaster. But let's not make it to be more than it is - messy, smelly, back-breaking, emotionally and psychologically draining work. I guess I don't want to glamorize it, you know?

Anyway, on a lighter note...I'm looking to shoot a new photoset for the Plus-Size Suicide Girls group. Unfortunately, I fried my digital camera at the SGTwinCities Tubing Adventure. Somehow through two plastic ziplock bags and tupperware container, the camera still got wet. Grrrr... So if you have a digital camera and are interested in shooting a fun, erotic set of a cute, curvaceous sexy gal - MOI! - that will get posted on the PSW SG groups, email me privately and maybe we can set something up.

I had the kookiest 55 year-old client today. She could stop yappin. First she wanted to know if she could get AIDS if someone who had AIDS sneezed on her food (???....k...). Then she jumped topics and told me that she LOOOOVED the movie Deuce Bigelow: Male Gigilo because it had man whores in it. Man whores, people. A woman who could have been my grandma...at my place of employment. Good lord, I get the kooks.

And for my own man whores of the day:

Good to see you back! It's been a while! Enjoying the new apartment??? And admit it - you've been to Fuji Ya like 12 times already, haven't you?
I just tried out Saji Ya for my birthday a couple weeks ago, it was nice, I liked it. But Origami is still my favorite TC sushi place. Good lord, I think I may have to take a little trip to Lund's today for some deli sushi...that's what I get for talking about it! smile

I just got into SG TwinCities, so I hope to meet lots of new people there! Hopefully the people are nice.

And that idea about going down to the Gulf is very noble of you. You'd be doing a really good thing. I've had a few offers in my e-mail from people around the twin cities who want people to go in on renting a Budget truck, fill it with good and drive it down to help people the Red Cross and Salv. Army are looking over. I have a lot of my son's baby bottles that he doesn't use anymore and other baby items that I'm hoping to ship down there. I had a woman write me and say her church was collecting goods, rather than money. Goods I have, money I don't. frown So, I hope to help in any way I can too. I also applied for yet another 2 jobs in my employment quest this past couple of weeks. One I didn't get, found out yesterday. The other I find out Monday - and if I don't get it, I'll be going down too somehow. I hope. I figure it's fate - if I have no job, kiddo is going to grandma and grandpa's for a week or so and I make myself useful another way.

But anyway - bravo to you! That's very cool!

By the way, I have two digitals, if you either need a photographer, or just the use of the cam...

Welcome back! smile
