so yeah, Psyche the bitchy iguana WAS eating a little better after the light got changed, but she's just a depressive in general, it seems. Soon she will be going tp the vet so we can find out if she's got a lot of parasites or a gut obstruction going on, but until then, the pedialyte thing is where it's at... it gives her the temporary munchies, and that's good.
She's been going to the bathroom a little again, which is a good sign, and she's actually starting to lap the pedialyte up from the syringe occasionally, which is helpful, because my arms are definitely fucking hurting a little bit from her struggles.
She's gotten so skinny, though. It's worth the welts, the pedialyte soaked clothing, and all the effort.
I love my iguana :-(
wish me and her both luck, okay? she may be a fighter, but she's got me so worried....

PS- there's a picture of her. she closes her eyes for cameras and stuff she doesn't like or is scared of.
and no, that's NOT a hotrock she's sitting on, it's a slab of granite we've got under her light. No first degree burns for her, thank you ;-)
