Thanks for all the well wishes, things are going better.

I still must buy a car though and I am considering something totally out of charecter.

Fact: I have driven nothing but V8's for the last five years.

I am currently looking at one of these kia thingys


or one of these suzuki thingy's

Smart cars are awesome, from a design stand point. I saw them in Europe, way before they emerged, adorned with restaurant ads, here in North America. They are great cars there but the culture of driving is completely different here and seeing a smart car on the 401 kinda made me laugh. And unless every parking spot in Toronto is divided in half, there will not be much use for them on these roads.

Regardless, small cars are fun to drive (especially standard). What they lack in acceleration, they more than make up in cornering and drivability.
