so not many of you know too much about me but im super fun loving and you prob think i go to the gym a lot haha. in nov 09 i was in a horrific car accident that killed a lady and i had like 5 injuries that wouldve killed most and we really dont know how im still here and i dont know why....

The purpose of this site, besides entertainment in various forms, is finding kindred spirits, support, and community if you so choose.
Your accident and recovery is a terrible thing to have to go through. I'm helping someone who is recovering from stroke currently, it's so difficult. It's great to hear that you are working hard to live your life to it's best and push yourself.

I would hope that no guy on here would have an expectation that any female member would do that as a matter of course. But the web is full of creeps (the bad kind). Don't give up, there are plenty of nice members on SG, you just need to be a little careful and watch out for predators.

The problem is that everybody's stuck in old patterns of how life should be. Hell, I got burnt by most my non-immediate family when a GF moved in while we were dating because of the whole "but what if you have kids and aren't married" crap.
Then there's the stuff I gotta deal with when it comes to the guy friends when I have a female friend over. They don't seem to understand that it's entirely possible to be adults and still play like kids and whatnot without it resorting to sex or something. Hell, my best dates were ones that nothing ever happened and we didn't care. The older you get, though, the harder it is to get a new friend that doesn't think you're coming onto them or is comfortable with the whole innocent cuddle thing because you feel like it.
