last night the first real rain came.
i went out into the night, the sky was dark, the clouds seemed close enough to grasp.
i stood in the rain and let it wash away the worries and grime of my day.
i felt a surge of real happiness, a fleeting and wonderful experience.

i saved a moth today. it was drowning in the drain of our shower. i turned it over and it climbed onto my hand. i walked it outside and it clung to me with surprising strenght. it resisted leaving the salvation of my finger but eventually it climbed off for freedom. for a moment i felt worthwhile.

last days are always hard. that's rough that your ex has been calling you. that's got to be very difficult to deal with. i'm sure this is hard enough without him calling you up and saying things like that. but this is your opportunity for a fresh start. you are right, worrying and fretting accomplishes nothing (this from the master worrier whatever ) so keep your energy positive. remember, you can do anything you set your mind to!

I keep waiting for life to get easier.
It hasnt yet.
I feel so old. My heart is aged from all the pain.
one of these days i will be happy. one of these days i will breath without a weight in my chest.
Nothing tells me that is true but a part of me hopes for it anyway.
