I'm working on a Nakashima style coffee table for our place. I thought I'd share my progress!
I hope to be done within about 3 weeks, since I only get to work on it on Saturdays.. smile

All that's left is to finish the joint for my slag leg, mount that, turn the other two tapered legs and join them, and finally add about 6-10 layers of natural tung oil. The end product will look something like this.

damn...that table's going to be gorgeous. someday i'd love to end up in new hope, being crafty all the time...though i suppose i'd have to build up high to avoid those nasty floods.

totally forgot i was supposed to go down to newtown tonight...oopsies. i miss it down there (not bensalem where i lived, but in general).
