today we got back from our puddle jump tour for louisville, and la grange. over all it was a pretty cool trip. we made some band contacts, and the djs at wlrs fucking loved us. we are supposed to call them tomorrow, he said he would have us two shows lined up by then. the band that won the battle was fucking awesome. they are called my finest hour. if you like thursday, blindside, or other related bands check them out. for a bunch of high school kids, they fucking rock.
our show saturday at twice told open up doors for us in la grange. those kids didn't know what to think. the owner wants us back bad. i think we are going back sept. 25. billy gibbons from zz top hangs out there, as well as the kentucky headhunters, and the drummer from alice cooper. he is also working on getting shows for the prison. i told sign us up. he has a good thing going. it is a reallly positive place for youth, with live music, pool tables, arcade, coffe shop, and resturaunt. much props to them.
