IS there anyone in the los angeles area? if so, please tell me ur thoughts on the jail riots going on. See, I go to school in downtown L.A., minutes away from the twin towers, where its all going down and I go to school with a bunch of convicts and felons who are fresh outta that jail that is rioting at this very moment. We had an essay to write in my english class about this situation which led to a very heated debate about weather or not the jail system should be segragated...as all the debating, arguing, shouting, tears and confrontations went on in class, I sat silently, observing and taking it all in. I tend to have a non-chalant attitude when it comes to this topic but apparently Im the only one in my class that doesnt have a close friend or relative thats been victimized by the system ( i guess thats what happens when ur as whitewashed as I am ) or thats been in jail. I guess Im pretty lucky...
