I got a Chinchilla Friday night! An early bday present from my beau I named him Owen and he is 2 months old. Very very cute! I didn't realize at first how delicate their sensitivity to heat is until the breeder explained it to me. So....I spent Sunday shopping for an air conditioner...ugh...

I am baking a huge chocolate layer cake to bring to work for my birthday, I guess I just felt I needed an excuse to bake a cake!
