Do you actually live in Fort Lee? I grew up there...mostly in Horizon House (the apartment complex across the street from Callahan's on Palisade Avenue), went to Fort Lee High School, made many a drunken pit stop at the Plaza Diner on the way home from the city....essentially a typical Fort Lee adolencent existence. My best friend in the world is another Fort Lee alumnus---and now we're both out here in Cali.

I'd have to guess that your not from Fort Lee, but it's just strange to find someone who actually lives there (that isn't my mother's former Mahjong partner).

Now when I go back there it seems so strange. When I was a kid it was a lot different--much more of a small town feel. It was still a strange purgatory stuck between Manhattan and the suburbs, but somehow more quaint nonetheless.

I can also remember when there was N O T H I N G in edgewater but abandoned factories and landfill. No Whole Foods, no little shopping mall with a Target, no high-rises---there wasn't even "River Road."

What a trip.

Anyway, us Fort Lee types need to stick together.

i was reading Plato one day and became very unispired and quite depressed. I stopped at that moment and started reading a forgotten realms novel. soon there after i picked up lessons for archery. it inspired me. bettering myself at something put me in a good mood.
