what a whirlwind of a day.
i'm so thankful for friends. even if i don't talk to them as much as i should, but just knowing they are there is such a comfort.

i'm really sick. i know i act fine. after a few years i realized it's better to put on a semi-healthy facade than to have to explain to everybody what's wrong with me. But I'm really sick. that's that...
don't pity me. i can't stand that. i'm not sad about my condition, i'm glad that i have something that makes me a stronger and more grateful person than most people.

if anything, feel sorry for the low-life assholes working for health insurance companies. denying me medical coverage for a "pre-existing condition" is completely ridiculous. i cannot afford $8,000 treatments every 8 weeks. let alone my prescription costs. And by February 2008 I won't have health insurance.

Working 40+ hours a week, attending college to better my education, volunteering in my community, and paying taxes just doesn't cut it I guess. They have to take the only chance I have at being a fairly healthy person too. I swear to the god that i don't believe in that if I end up in the hospital again because I can't afford the only drugs that keep me alive, then I am just going to say fuck it all and move the hell out of this place.
