Well, so much for not being much of a blogger....

I should be in my History of Contemporary Music class today. But why waste gas driving to class when I know all the material? So I've been reading my beloved Ken Wilber books and frantically cleaning the apartment instead.
And, of course, feeding my craving for SG.
Random question I felt like reposting:
Q: What is one thing you've learned about life?
A:A human being is part of the whole, called the "universe"; a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings as something seperate from the rest - a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison.

Thinking turns me on.
And trust me, I've been thinking A LOT lately. biggrin

Oh come on, everyone loves infomercials. You, like me, were probably on the edge of your seat waiting for the bonus stuff you get for seventeen easy payments of $39.95.

I love hearing what other people have learned about life. It allows me to imagine the world through a different mind. As for that specific prison that surrounds us, I can't say I know of that. I am innately compassionate towards life, and have an undying hope in the greater good of man kind. Don't know how it started, but it's been there for as long as I can remember. Though I used to be severly closed minded, and even though I say I am open minded that isn't entirely true since my mind keeps opening.

Thinking is sexy, I wish more people would do it.

What have I learned about life? Well that is a good question. I think that I've learned that in my absence of thinking I've learned. That when the mind it lost it's growing from knowledge. We learn from the what we don't know, and what we knows becomes unlearned. That we are traveling and seeing things with unopened eyes; and in order to learn again we need to reopen them.

Well that's my opinion anyway. Thinking is nice.

How are you doing? The muse concert was amazing!! OH god was it great!
