Insecurity? What is it?
Here's a wonderful thing that happens at 40. You know that insecurity we had at 20? It disappears or decreases significantly. And look, we would have a lot more reason to be insecure now, since the body is no longer the same.
Heaviness, sagging, varicose veins and other subjects that we would never talk about in front of most girls at 20, we speak most naturally in front of any man at 40,almost 50...
Jealousy? What a illogical thing!
At age 40, we discover that jealousy is useless. It's no use making strict appointments, it's no use scowling at women who look at our husbands. It's no use fighting with your husband when he is harassed by another woman. We learn that this sort of thing destroys the relationship instead of holding back marriage. And if the husband makes the mistake of exchanging us for a 20, he is the one who will lose out. We won't have an iota of doubt about it.
Quality not quantity
The 40-year-old woman values quality in several aspects. She doesn't collect jeans anymore, she wants quality clothes, even if they are few. She will hardly give up the comfort of a shoe in favor of beauty, as she prefers to feel comfortable, than having a thousand eyes turned to her feet. And so it is with most of her choices..
Forgiving and asking for forgiveness are essential to your well-being.
The 40-year-old woman leaves behind silly things that used to make her sleepless. She forgives more easily and asks for forgiveness without reservation. She knows how such attitudes are important to her happiness. She knows that having peace is more important than being right.
I feel more attractive at 46...
It feels weird to hear a woman say she feels more attractive at my age than she did before. But that has an explanation. Despite the extra pounds, flab, varicose veins and everything that goes with age, self-confidence makes all the difference. She no longer has those crickets she had when she was younger. And this is deeply reflected in intimacy and also in my work;
I know my strengths and make them overshadow my weaknesses..
