My gig, tonight. Go-go dancing tomorrow night. And since i've decided to give Him what i get for these two gigs (after all, cars are expensive toys to fix), i'm doing it for the fun of it. For the kicks. Am i an exhibitionist? One thing is undeniable: i love to dance. Almost anything, almost anywhere.

And to think that just when i was getting gloomy for not having anything scheduled, i end up landing two gigs on the same weekend and having a trip booked for the beginning of next month.

Or bake. Oh am i addicted to baking muffins. i mean, i couldn't sleep last night, i got one hour total of shut-eye before i got up to work out, i have to rehearse, and still... i spent over 3 hours today baking. For the fun of it, and because i wanted to see other people eat my stuff. Some i will take to my brother, after all i guess i have to make up for being an absent older sis (although i am always the one to call, he never does). The others... well, over half of my batches were happily gobbled down by my work mates. Fun!

Total, i made 42 muffins this morning. In four different flavours: Apple and walnut (12), Pumpkin choc chip (12 mini loafs), Double choc chip (12) and Smores (6 jumbo). If anyone wants the recipes just let me know, and i'll post them. Also, i wanted to try out the brand new mini baking pans i bought yesterday. i found the most adorable dusty baking stuff store and i bought adorable new toys.

Guess that reading over 50 food blogs a day really makes one want to experiment in the kitchen. i made Tuna (with mint and sesame seeds) burguer patties last night for dinner, served in a kmmel bread sandwich with a chanclich spread and a rommaine and iceberg lettuce, tomato and onions salad. Yum.

But the fun part was to interrupt the dish washing to relief the Mister. In other words, to fuck on the kitchen floor.

Maybe if He had spent the night i would have been able to sleep. Or He wouldn't have. Damn insomnia. And damn allergies.

So what do you do when you can't sleep because you just can't stop sneezing (i counted up to 20 in 5 minutes) and you desperately need to. You make the most of time. How? How about putting together a YouTube Marilyn Monroe playlist?

Ever since i got out of bed its been a busy week. Wednesday i spent the day cleaning the house. i even cut class to be able to finish everything. And yesterday it was the closet. Then going out to pay bills and to dance class.

And working out. Things are better? Dunno, but just staying in bed sometimes feels like a waste of life. There is just so much out there...

Time for work. And then rehearsal, and a complicated hair-do. Something tells me that i will only sleep properly on Sunday evening. Oh well, thats what weekends are for. Not sleeping.

So have a good weekend. i still have a lot to do. And i need some sleep. Desperately.
