Assemblyman Duvall Denies Reports that he Had Affair
"I want to make it clear that my decision to resign is in no way an admission that I had an affair or affairs. My offense was engaging in inappropriate story-telling and I regret my language and choice of words. The resulting media coverage was proving to be an unneeded distraction to my colleagues and I resigned...

He was an absolute hoot. He had everyone convinced that my mother beat him. As they would head out the front door - he would cower and yell "stop hitting me". He was 6'2" tall and 250 pounds. My mom was 5'5" and 160 pounds and as gentle as a lamb. It was ludicrous.
This was the guy who would stage abductions, one time he had the entire County Police department looking for an abducted girl - some farmer called it in - it was all a hoax. They sat at home and listened to the police radio just busting a gut. I know it was irresponsible. Probably why I trod the straight and narrow today - after living through some of that.
As a teenager he tried to get one girl's attention by dynamiting the tree in her front yard.
He didn't want anyone to mourn his passing. If he's anywhere reading this he's just laughing his head off. I know it seemed irreverent - but that's who and what he was.

Undie drawer--undies. Bras. A long letter I wrote and never sent to someone who probably needs to hear every word I said in that letter. Random loose earrings from a jewelry box spill. That same evil jewelry box. Two single socks that don't match. An old electric bill, for some reason (????), Strawberry flavored lube that tastes lovely.... One small pocket rocket in its own little velvet sleeve.
I'm getting ideas....
Maybe that electric bill ended up in there because I got ideas another time and got myself all distracted.

Nothing fun in the underweat drawer, just undies. I've got a couple pairs sexy ones, but mostly just comfy cotton bikines. The lacy sexy things tend to "ride up" if ya know what I mean.
my sister is visiting
she never misses a chance to complain about what a raw deal our parents have given her
i don't agree at least half the time
but i don't have the energy to fight her and her persecution complex
and sometimes we agree that our parents 'weren't interested in our feelings' or whatever....
but i have so much more empathy for their...

Thank you.
I listened to a self help tape (not by choice; a relative's idea of "car music" for a fucking hour ride) that said "Who ever said we were promised a happy childhood?" and it changed so much thinking for me. It's so true or at least it helped me. I also had a very, very different upbringing from my sister. Unfortunately we're no longer speaking but I know my horrible experiences made me a much stronger, wiser person than she...all the best to your family.

"Holllywooooood, Hollywood Swinging...." I have always loved Kool and the Gang. Got a series of CD's out called Get Out The Funk, I think (I'll have to check that name) But it's years worth of funk music. Old, older, new, newer--talk about a great listen while on a long commute to work! (or doing housework, or dancing when I should be doing housework....)
Thanks for your continued support, my dear. You always give me lot's of smiles and even a few tingles! (more than a few, if I'm honest about it.) Lub you.

So in 300 years (maybe sooner, what with the internet and all) Jon Stewart will be God?
Maybe then He'll change his name back.
