My daughter made a cucumber salad with a wacky dressing concoction that is really good
I brought from the food co-op a crunchy lentil salad, brilliant red, that supposed to taste like taco filling. really tasty.
wedding was lovely. lots of talk of politics in the ceremony (No on 8! Keep Marriage Legal and Free!) and over wedding cake, veggie sides and mexican buffet
a sweet day

When I was growing up we lived in a house that was built in 1897. Also had tin roofs but they were insulated.... could still hear the rain come pattering down. Good times. I miss that house... had character.

I just bought a 26" flat screen TV at Best Buy. For some reason recently I went through this "I must have a flat screen TV," phase. I still have and old magnavox. It just ridiculuos because we don't have cable and we don't watch that much TV. I used the couple movies we watch month as the excuse.
Truth, I am an american that likes to have nice new things every now and then and I like to think I got a good deal on them.
