well, i totally blew the final job interview. it was @ 5:30pm on Tues. evening, so i left at around 5:00pm just so i could get there in time and be early. that's always a good thing, right? so i leave and i turn onto the only highway to get to this place and it is backed up in construction. they had one of those ladies out there with a stop sign and she'd tell us when we could go through. so i was just sittin there in my car thinkin it was no big deal - we'd sit there for about 5-8 minutes and i'd be on my way. GOOD THING I LEFT EARLY, is what I was tellin myself. well...turned out we sat there for a full half an hour. i would have absolutely went another way, but there WAS no other way. this was the only road to get to the gym. so finally we got to go...and i was already 10 min late and it was about 15 more minutes away. anway, i get there...run in, and am like..."hello, i'm here for my final interview, my name is 'sarah blah'." and she's like..."what time was your interview?" and i was like, " I know, I'm late...there was a half hour hold up on hwy 28 - i got stuck in it." and she was like..."alright, well they are back in the 3rd room to the left...you can go in and check." so as i was walking down this hallway I started to see all these people file out of a room. the minute i got there, the interview was over... so i walked in, and there was all the managers of the gym and all the big people...sittin at this desk. so i knock and peek my head in, and am like "i suppose i'm a little late". and they were just like.."yeah, sorry." and from their attitude i didn't even want to sit there and try to explain why i was late - it wouldn't have mattered. they'd probably just think it was an excuse. so i just said alright and smiled..and walked away. it really did suck. i wanted that job extremely bad, and i KNOW i would have gotten it. i just know. but obviously it wasn't the one for me...i'll just have to find another one. i did go and fill out an application for another gym right after, so who knows, maybe i'll get a call from them sometime soon. OH WELL. keep on truckin...haha.
