Entirely possible that I could fit in both to some extent, but Tara & I are gonna see about weekend passes to Lollapalooza, whenever those go on sale, and maybe look into the VIP options as well -- indulge ourselves perhaps!
Big news recently is that the company behind New York's big annual comic-con (held in NYC 2 weekends ago), is lining up a Chicago event starting in 2010! The exciting part to me is that they are fixing to use McCormick Plaza by the lake! I am ecstatic over that prospect, because after doing Rosemont by O'Hare the last 10 years straight, I'm burned out on the suburban venue and really want something better IN Chicago.
I'll keep you posted either way. Keep an eye out in the Chicago group for something on that the closer we get to the summer. It's not even until August this year, so no one's buzzing about Wizard World quite yet.
