Last night my ex-roommate's little sister texted me asking her if I could come get her (around midnight) to hang out because there was a lot on her mind and she needed to talk to someone she could trust and that I've always been like an older sister to her. So despite being in my pajamas, curled up and ready for bed, I drove there just to drive around with her and talk for a bit.

Then we had a small get together and got completely trashed.. interesting night!

This afternoon I went to see Moonrise Kingdom... amazing movie, honestly. I hadn't heard of it much before a friend told me to watch a trailer and that it was a must see film. I did the usual, pack my purse with pepsi and some sweedish fish before entering the movie theater. On the way in, a lady asked me if she could check my bag, and I said sure but I'm trying to sneak in food and drink. She winked and said I was fine after taking a peek.

That was always my worst fear as a child, sneaking in candy and getting caught. I didn't realize until much later that they're checking for guns and that there were police officers out in front of every few theaters. A little nerve-wracking if you ask me.
